November 6, 2025

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX vehicles equipped with a V35A engine. Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power.

Remedy:

Dealers will perform an inspection on the #1 main bearing using vehicle inspection software and drive data, and if necessary, replace the engine. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner letters were mailed August 28, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB14 and 25TA14. Campaign 26V180000SEATS
March 24, 2026

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Lexus LX vehicles. The front passenger seat may have insufficient clearance between the seat frame and the stopper that can cause the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor to incorrectly detect the occupant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Remedy:

Dealers will inspect and replace the front passenger seat frame assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed April 27, 2026. Campaign 2025594Visual System
October 30, 2025

Issue: Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image to freeze or not to display. If this happens, the rearview image may not display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a panoramic view monitor system. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the parking assist ECU software.

Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a 3.4L twin-turbo engine. This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada Recall No. 2024-304. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Safety Risk: An airbag system that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Lexus recommends that you shouldn't transport a passenger in the front passenger seat until the recall repairs have been completed. Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front passenger seat frame assembly.
